On Sunday, July 25th, we’re doing something extra special for Love Your Neighbor Sunday and will be partnering with our very own Simon Okelo and One Vibe Africa to host Madaraka Festival 2021 here in Bellevue!

As we seek to be a church for the common good, we are excited for the opportunity to host this free community-wide event that will bring Africa’s finest musicians and creatives together with world-renowned artists and innovators for a celebration of music and civic purpose.

The event will be held from 2pm-6pm at Bellevue Youth Theatre’s outdoor amphitheater and will feature live music and poetry performances, African food, and art! In these unprecedented times, it is vital that we stand in solidarity with one another and enjoy the creativity that has sustained us through challenging times. What better way to live in the post-pandemic period than being the Global Village that we are!

The event will also be streamed for a global audience on YouTube, Clubhouse, and Facebook.
