Join us Sunday, March 28th at 10am on Zoom for another interactive 'Love Your Neighbor Sunday' community partner conversation with special guest Chitra Hanstad, Executive Director of World Relief Seattle.

Chitra will be sharing around the theme of a "Jesus kind of justice" and how this informs the specific work that she does with World Relief Seattle to ensure refugees and other immigrants in vulnerable situations are welcomed by community, rooted in community, and empowered for community. She'll also be sharing about a brand new initiative that World Relief Seattle is launching to invest in economic justice for refugees and immigrants through their Entrepreneurship Academy and Commercial Teaching Kitchen, and how Common Good Church can partner in this endeavor.

Chitra began as Executive Director at World Relief Seattle in January 2017. Prior to this, she spent time in India consulting for Justice Ventures International (an anti-trafficking organization) on strategic planning and fund development and as a Philanthropic Advisor for the Seattle Foundation. While her career started in corporate advertising, public relations and media relations, she has spent most of the last twenty years working for local and international non-profits. Chitra has a passion for seeing at-risk communities thrive. She has served on many boards including Covenant World Relief & Urban Impact, and volunteers with The Stability Network.
