LYNS x ICHS | AAPI Heritage Month Edition

Sunday, May 22nd is Love Your Neighbor Sunday where instead of going to church, we are intentional about putting our faith into practice by going out into our respective neighborhoods and communities to be the church by loving our neighbor and working together for the common good.

Additionally, we use the opportunity to highlight the work and stories of different community leaders and organizations who are on the ground, loving and serving their neighbors in real and tangible ways on a regular and ongoing basis.

With the month of May being Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we are highlighting the work of International Community Health Services (ICHS). ICHS, located in the heart of downtown Seattle’s historic Chinatown-International District (CID) and Little Saigon, provides culturally and linguistically appropriate health services to improve the health of Asian Pacific Islanders and the broader community.

We will be hosting a virtual LYNS x Community Partner Conversation and providing an in-person serving opportunity with ICHS Legacy House. Visit our Love Your Neighbor Sunday page here to learn more about how you can engage with Love Your Neighbor Sunday this month.
