Community Grocery Shoppers

Community Grocery Shoppers 16x9.jpg

While COVID-19 is impacting all of us to varying degrees, we are aware that there are some very real economic and financial implications that this pandemic is having on people in our community. That’s why we’re partnering with our friends at Jubilee REACH to demonstrate the love of God in real and tangible ways over the next several months — no strings attached.

By working closely with the Bellevue School District and Jubilee specific programs such as KidREACH, Jubilee REACH has identified over 700 families that would receive groceries once a week who are all are low to fixed income, and have just enough money to cover bills each month, with no margin for job loss or income interruption.

The opportunity involves selecting a day Tuesday - Thursday on a week that you would like to shop and deliver basic groceries and necessities for families most in need. You can sign up for as many days or weeks that you’d like to participate.

HOW IT WORKS

  • Each family should receive all of the items on the weekly grocery list. The shopping list which changes from week to week, is comprised of 10-12 grocery items, approximately $25-$35 value per family.

  • Each volunteer will be responsible for purchasing, packing and delivering their grocery bags to Jubilee REACH Center on your chosen day between 9am-12pm. Early morning or evening delivery are fine; put the bags in front of the back door to Jubilee.

  • If interested in participating, click the link below to sign up for a date that works for you and to get the specific grocery list for the week!
